Road traffic crashes remain a frequently overlooked public health crisis, as the 8th leading cause of death globally and the #1 killer of young people aged 5–29.
 
Ministers’ endorsement of the Stockholm Declaration on Road Safety paved the way for a resolution to reduce road deaths and serious injuries by 50% by 2030. Draing on key lessons from the first UN Decade of Action for Road Safety, this panel of thought leaders will discuss the roadmap to achieve this target.
